Developed during my time interning at the California Lighting Technology Center and in collaboration with Aquaborne; a local sustainable material startup.

This unique table lamp explores the intersection of sustainability and design by using dyed red fish scales as a primary material. the scales, sourced through the innovative use of recycled fish skins, are carefully arranged to create a striking visual effect, with the red refracted glow adding warmth and depth to any interior. The luminaire, the first of its kind, was ideated, tested, and produced to showcase the potential of experimental materials in modern lighting design.
