This proposal transforms a former woodland California storage site into a versatile art studio and exhibition space.

The design includes two lofted areas: the first features a spacious lounge area downstairs with outdoor access, and upstairs functions as an office with a kitchen. This loft is defined by its striking floor-to-ceiling windows, which allow for an abundant flow of natural light and create a seamless connection between the interior and the outdoors. The second loft houses craft equipment, supporting a variety of artistic practices. the studio also includes a darkroom for photo development, a screen printing area, and a bathroom, ensuring both creative and practical needs are met.

the combination of open space and natural light in this adaptive reuse project offers an inspiring and functional environment for artists and visitors alike.
