Hi, I’m Alex!


A multidisciplinary designer and Los Angeles native who recently graduate from the UC Davis Bachelor of Arts Design program. I am currently developing a variety of works from Los Angeles. I thrive in translating ideas into visually compelling and effective designs. 

My interests and focus are in creating new sustainable design solutions in architecture, lighting, and various design mediums. I have a background in photography, music, and street art- all of which have influenced my style and development. Currently pursuing a opportunities in architecture and product design.

Experience


Designer - Freelance (2018-Present)
I work with a variety of clients and communities—ensuring that every project exceeds expectations. Elegance and function are at the core of my process—spaces and visuals aren’t just built, they’re felt. Every design choice I make is intentional.

Publicity Coordinator - (2022-2024)
Whole Earth Festival
-Created a successful marketing and social media campaign utilizing high quality designs or my making
-Developed a new website, managed social media pages, and captured content for future use.
-Contributed to the success of the festival and resulted in a 200% growth in our social media following. 

Product Design Intern - (2023-2024)
CA Lighting Technology Center
-Worked closely with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices into product development. Both physical and digital methods of research and design.
-Tasked with developing a way to integrate fish scales and leather in interior lighting fixtures. Through testing, exploration, and refinement, I produced a first-of-its-kind product and expanded use for the material’s applicability.

Lighting Design Intern - (2023-2024)
Manetti Shrem Museum of Art

In preparation for Deborah Butterfield’s “Horses” exhibit, I worked alongside the exhibition staff in adjusting and readying the exhibit lighting. The process included following specification sheets for individual art pieces, digital rendering and physical testing.
